Your local checklist
Your complete checklist, saved steps, and to-do list are stored in localStorage in this browser and are not synced to an account. When you mark or unmark a step as done, its item ID and checked state are sent as a first-party counting event; the complete checklist, favorites, and to-do state are not uploaded. Clearing site data removes them. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent them from being saved.
The Life Audit
Your age group, budget, everyday context, focus, and effort choices are used on this page to rank available items. We do not send these answers to an AI service or store them on the server. If you submit an email subscription, we include only your result item IDs, topic labels, and the optional post topic.
Source attribution and event counts
We save the first visit’s utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term in this browser, including empty values. Later visits do not replace this first-touch record. These source values accompany first-party events: landing visits, quiz starts and completions, checklist checks, subscription requests, and confirmed subscriptions. Event IDs help prevent duplicate counts. We use these records for daily aggregate reports; they do not require third-party cookies.
Do not put names, email addresses, passwords, or other private information in campaign links. Campaign values are recorded as supplied.
Email and your choice
When you request updates, we store your email, pending subscription status, hashes of confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, your source attribution, the consent version and time, result summary if provided, and timestamps. Raw tokens appear in the action links, not in the stored subscriber record. Confirm through the email link to activate your subscription. Each email includes an unsubscribe link.
Confirmation messages are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. We do not currently send regular update emails; if we start, we will email only people who confirmed their subscription, and every email will include an unsubscribe link.
Service providers and security
The service uses Cloudflare Workers and D1 for hosting and server-side records. Requests may include technical network data such as an IP address. A short-lived limit derived from your IP helps prevent abuse. Hosting and email providers process data to provide these services.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics stays off when no measurement ID is configured. If enabled, it loads only after you explicitly allow optional analytics. It may use cookies and transmit usage data to Google. You can turn it off using the page’s analytics choice; previously sent data cannot be recalled and existing Google cookies may remain until you clear site data. Confirmation and unsubscribe pages are excluded; token-bearing links are not sent as analytics page locations.
Retention and control
Clear local site data to remove your checklist and first-touch values. Unsubscribing stops future updates, but server records may be retained for consent, abuse prevention, and reporting. While you are subscribed, we keep your subscriber record (email address, subscription status, first-visit campaign tags, optional post topic, and quiz result summary). After you unsubscribe, we keep that record for up to 24 months as a record of your consent and choice, then delete it. Visit and quiz event records, which do not include your email address, are kept for up to 26 months. To ask for a copy of your data or for its deletion, email hello@dielaterclub.com.
