Include strength work in your week
Strength training is another part of being active. Do not use the apparent plateau in observational studies as a strict ceiling on your training.
Include muscle-strengthening activity alongside aerobic movement.
Strength activity was associated with 15% lower all-cause mortality risk versus none in cohort studies.
Why consider it?
The review pooled prospective observational studies with self-reported activity. Its all-cause mortality comparison was rated very low certainty; the A label is inherited from the book, not a new certainty rating. The relative association does not show that a specific program causes the reduction. Evidence that higher volumes are harmful was weak; this does not set a training ceiling.
Read the sources

Effect sizes quoted from the cited source: estimates are kept in their original comparison and population; observational associations are not described as proven personal gains.
