A prepared exit line can make it easier to delay a pressured purchase.
Why consider it?
This is the original book's practical suggestion. It cites no external outcome study and gives no numerical estimate of purchases or scams prevented. The C evidence grade is retained; an easy exit is a proposed tool, not an established fraud-prevention effect.
Read the sources
Source grade C is reproduced from the original work. It does not establish suitability for everyone.
Original item: chapter 17, item 4 ↗Adaptation: Rewritten in English from the locked Chinese original; retained evidence grade and study limits. Effect sizes quoted from the cited source: no quantified effect of the proposed action is claimed; numbers, where present, are descriptive findings, study procedures or guidance parameters. Original book guidance only; no external evidence or measured prevention effect was cited. r3 AI review: Replaced the negative proof wording with established; retained the lack of outcome-study evidence.
