Clear out stale account access
An old login or app authorization may still have access. Check the access list rather than waiting for a visible account problem.
Review logged-in devices and authorized apps; remove unfamiliar devices and apps you no longer use.
Removing stale access closes permissions you no longer intend to keep.
Why consider it?
This is the original book's practical account-cleanup advice. It cites no external study measuring how much cleanup reduces compromise. The C grade is retained, and no numerical outcome effect is claimed. The suggestion concerns access you can review, not proof that every intruder appears on a list.
Read the sources
Source grade C is reproduced from the original work. It does not establish suitability for everyone.
Original item: chapter 14, item 6 ↗Adaptation: Rewritten in English from the locked Chinese original; retained evidence grade and study limits. Effect sizes quoted from the cited source: no quantified effect of the proposed action is claimed; numbers, where present, are descriptive findings, study procedures or guidance parameters. Original book guidance only; no external evidence or measured prevention effect was cited.
